The RyRy Scallop may be small and compact but that didn’t mean we were willing to compromise on safety.
The RyRy Scallop adheres to the latest EU R129 certification.
It may sound like a cure for insomnia, but R129 means not only is the seat tested for front and rear impact but also side impact. It is the highest attainable EU safety certification.
It may not look much, but that little foam pad – better known as SiP (Side impact Protection), on either side of the seat, absorbs kinetic energy in the event of a side impact.
Size matters
At RyRy Compact, we believe size matters. We want to make everything smaller.
Smaller because no one has enough space anymore, smaller because it’s easier to get around and smaller because we use less of the planet’s resources.
